if i were sleeping beauty and had a penny for every time i pricked my finger while sewing, i might just wake up as a billionaire in a hundred years. hand embroidery encourages a high attention to detail, with every thread purposefully placed. it’s definitely become a love-hate relationship in dim lighting with larger pieces. on the upside, it makes a thoughtful present and many of my pieces are created as personalized gifts.
