when i was in primary school, i nearly burnt down my kitchen from repetitive failures in baking cookies. i had read this book about a girl who could bake without measuring cups, closing her eyes and using her hands to weigh the ingredients. well, that went just about as well as you can expect. i can proudly say that i no longer require a nearby ambulance to watch over my kitchen endeavors. in fact, my chocolate chip cookie recipe is one of my proudest accomplishments in life.
